On the evening of May 4, 2007, the Russian-American Cultural Society sponsored a concert of classical music to benefit St. Sergius Russian Orthodox Cathedral. The concert featured parishioners Halida Dinova (piano) and Yarina Siry (piano), and guests Alla Aranovskaya (voilin) and Boris Vayner (viola). Before the concert and during intermission, the Cathedral Sisterhood offered Russian hors'deurves and desserts.
On Sunday, May 6, 2007, the Choir of St. Sergius Cathedral joined the Choirs of St. Sava Serbian Cathedral and St. Theodosius Cathedral to perform a concert of Paschal hymns at St. Theodosius Cathedral. The concert featured each choir performing seperately, then all coming together at the end for a few selections.
